Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in drywall installation, finishing, and related carpentry tasks to deliver high-quality results on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply drywall compound to walls and ceilings for a smooth, professional finish
- Sand and repair surfaces, ensuring consistency and quality
- Install corner beads, tape joints, and prepare surfaces for painting
- Repair damaged drywall and match textures as needed
- Read and work from construction schematics to determine layout and material requirements
- Collaborate with carpenters on door hanging, trim, and frame carpentry tasks
- Perform plaster, stucco, and additional finishing work as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in drywall installation and finishing techniques
- Strong knowledge of material estimating and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret construction schematics
- Experience with plastering, stucco, and texture matching
- Familiarity with trim carpentry, door hanging, and frame carpentry
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work safely and efficiently on active construction sites
