Job Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with a strong work ethic to join our team here at Stainless Structurals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, an aptitude for machinery and the ability to work well in a team setting. A successful candidate will have an eye for detail and will operate machinery using appropriate safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Interpret blueprints and drawings
- Fabricate a welded part using manual and mechanical power tools in accordance with welding standards
- Ability to make correction on perimeters of welding machine to produce quality product
- Perform set up procedures on manufacturing welding and cutting equipment
- Perform routine inspections of welding/fabricating manufacturing equipment and communicate any issues
- Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
- Perform quality checks on produced product to ensure meeting standards
- Ability to work Overtime and Weekends as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Welding and Fabricating experience (TIG, MIG, Flux Core)
- Effective communication, including speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
- Good leadership and training skills
- Quick trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of following blueprints and manuals
- Excellent mechanical skill, including comfort with using tolls to make simple repairs
- Great time management
- Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues
- Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time and ability to lift 50lbs
Desired Pervious Job Experience/Education:
- Welding Certificates
- Overhead Crane Experience
- SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW
1st Shift 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 12:00 am
$1.00 differential pay for 2nd shift
Competitive Bonus paid monthly
