Job Summary
Hembree Transport Inc. is seeking reliable, motivated, and safety-focused full-time Package Delivery Drivers to join our team.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to homes and businesses within an assigned route. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
No CDL is required.
Drivers are home daily and work a consistent morning schedule, with routes ending once deliveries are completed.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a FedEx Ground delivery vehicle while following all traffic laws, FedEx Ground standards, and company policies.
- Load, organize, and unload packages efficiently while ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
- Use a handheld scanner to accurately record deliveries, pickups, and package activity.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Communicate with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delivery issues, delays, vehicle concerns, or customer issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle throughout the workday.
- Represent Hembree Transport Inc. and FedEx Ground in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a clean and safe driving record.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
- Driving experience is preferred but not required.
- CDL is not required.
- Must be able to lift packages up to 150 lbs. with the assistance of a hand truck.
- Must be able to handle repetitive lifting, carrying, walking, bending, and entering/exiting the vehicle throughout the day.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must have strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a positive attitude and strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Schedule
- Full-time position
- 5-6 days per week
- Weekend availability may be required based on business needs
- Start time: approximately 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
- End time: upon route completion
