Onslow Grading and Paving Inc, a family owned grading and paving contractor in Jacksonville, NC, seeks an CDL driver.
General Responsibilities:
- The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for driving and operating a dump truck,
- Good judgment and common sense is required in all duties and any other tasks assigned.
- Weekend work may be required depending on the contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Reports all unsafe conditions and actions to a supervisor and/or Fleet Manager.
- Responsible for performing pre-shift/pre-trip inspections and filling out respective reports.
- Maintains and operates a dump truck.
- Performs all work in a safe, efficient manner, following routine and all standards of performance.
Required
- Current Class A CDL is required.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Must be able to pass background check to work on military bases.
- Must be able to pass drug screen.
