Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Santa Ana. You will be responsible for keeping our facility running smoothly by performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting sudden breakdowns, and repairing faulty machinery.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems and other mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct equipment repair and installation tasks across various machinery and appliances within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with operational procedures.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing mechanical expertise and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support maintenance operations by managing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies and ensuring proper inventory levels.
Skills
- Experience with machinery repair and service technician roles, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Skilled in equipment installation, equipment repair, and general mechanical systems maintenance.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Construction experience is a plus, especially related to building systems or facility upgrades.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively.
