Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate the daily operations of the check-out department.
- Lead and coordinate daily team huddles to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
- Monitor patient treatment rooms and ensure every patient and parent receives outstanding service throughout their visit.
- Manage the daily schedule to maximize productivity and optimize treatment opportunities.
- Clearly explain treatment plans, helping patients and parents understand oral health needs and recommended care.
- Verify insurance benefits, discuss financial arrangements, and collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare and analyze reports while proactively communicating scheduling updates and operational needs.
- Schedule recall visits and future appointments according to the doctor's treatment recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with patients and families through excellent communication and customer service.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of dental office experience required.
- Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Dentrix practice management software preferred.
- Ability to travel between office locations as needed.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and holidays as needed.
