The Moxy Nashville Downtown is looking to add a little style to our current team, and you could be the perfect person. We are a hotel located in the heart of Nashville and on one of the busiest streets around. Sitting next door to Kid Rocks Honky Tonk and within steps of Broadway, our hotel is hip with a little modern, a lot of fun, and a place where our teammates are not just teammates, they are the heart of the operation.
Our guest service teammates not only work the hotel side, they also work as the bartenders for the hotel. The Moxy brand of Marriott hotels is a hotel that delivers the minimum in the guest rooms, but delivers the most in the public spaces to include complimentary games for the guest to access (pool table, board games, etc.), live music daily, an awesome lobby bar with snacks and amazing drinks, and then the location is the best because our guest can go visit Broadway and then come right back to a clean, fun, and comfortable place to rest and relax.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food handling protocols in hospitality settings
- Sales skills to promote hotel services and amenities
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions
- Basic math skills for handling payments and reconciling accounts
- Willingness to assist guests with a helpful attitude
-Prior hospitality experience preferred
-Fosse experience would be very helpful
-ABC card, or willing to obtain your ABC within two weeks.
-Bartending experience preferred
-Daily Cash Tipout along with credit card tips applied to your biweekly paycheck.
