Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Early Preschool (Bridge) Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their foundational years. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, and Montessori principles to foster holistic growth.
- Lead classroom activities focused on childhood development milestones, social-emotional learning, and behavioral management to create a positive learning environment.
- Oversee daily classroom management, including lesson planning, behavior management, and maintaining a safe and nurturing space for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs related to special education or developmental delays, and promote child welfare.
- Supervise assistant teachers and support staff, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure consistent instructional quality and classroom organization.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Integrate physical education, math activities, and other subject areas into daily lessons to promote comprehensive early childhood education.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention techniques, special education practices, and literacy education strategies.
- Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners effectively.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet developmental standards while fostering curiosity and independence.
- Experience with behavior management techniques tailored for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools.
