Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of bar operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Lead staff training initiatives on customer service excellence, food preparation, and safety protocols
- Monitor shift management to maintain smooth service flow during busy hours
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production and catering services
- Maintain a lively atmosphere that encourages teamwork, guest satisfaction, and repeat business
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or bar management with supervising responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and beverage service including barista and coffee experience
- Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and sales tracking
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively
- Deep understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation practices
- Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis within a hospitality setting
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently during shift management in casual dining or fine dining environments
- Knowledge of catering operations, banquet services, and event management is a plus
- Strong communication skills paired with a proactive approach to problem-solving in hospitality management
