We are a 1-practitioner podiatric surgical clinic in Downers Grove. Located in tower 2 of Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Luetkehans has been practicing for more than 30 years. We have a new provider joining our practice soon. We are seeking a medical receptionist to join our team, supporting one another with the requirements of daily clinic.
He/she must be friendly and compassionate, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a team spirit, desire to learn and able to multitask.
Hours are approximately 24/weekly. Tuesday from noon until 6pm. Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays 8am until 2pm.
1 year minimum prior medical clinical experience is required. Please do not apply if you have never worked in a doctors office.
Phone interview required before an in-person interview.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in & check-out patients, verifying demographic information and insurance details.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient service and support daily operations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
