Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and possess a strong understanding of groundskeeping practices. This role involves operating various mowing equipment, performing landscape maintenance, and contributing to the overall aesthetic of our clients' properties.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain mowing equipment to ensure efficient and effective grass cutting - MUST BE ABLE TO RUN A GRANDSTAND MOWER!
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, and planting.
- Assist in tree care activities such as tree trimming and pruning.
- Participate in snow plowing/ shoveling operations during winter months to maintain accessibility.
- Collaborate with the landscaping team to build hardscape features like patios and walkways.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, serviced, and stored properly after use.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance preferred.
- Familiarity with mowing techniques and landscape design principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Experience in tree care practices (preferred but not needed).
- Knowledge of snow plowing techniques is beneficial during winter seasons.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
