Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep all flooring pristine and safe for guests and staff
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to maintain a hygienic environment in accordance with health standards
- Handle laundry duties for linens, towels, and uniforms efficiently while managing time effectively to meet daily cleaning schedules
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness deficiencies and report them promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans of public spaces or guest rooms as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces
- Experience with hotel housekeeping procedures or custodial management is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment when necessary
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies to ensure efficient service delivery
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrates understanding of guest service expectations
