Laundry Attendant
Hyatt Place Champaign / Urbana is seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for ensuring hotel linens, towels, and uniforms are cleaned, organized, and available to support exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hotel linens and towels.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, and wear.
- Maintain linen inventory and ensure housekeeping closets remain stocked.
- Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Follow all hotel policies and chemical handling procedures.
- Report equipment maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist housekeeping team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
