We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our innovative manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding to join metal parts securely.
- Fabricate custom metal components using cutting, grinding, drilling, and bending tools.
- Inspect finished welds and assemblies for quality, strength, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency during fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve workflow processes.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding with a strong understanding of metallurgy.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
- Skilled in using fabrication tools including grinders, drills, saws, and bending machines.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control and safety compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to welding and fabrication is preferred.
- Certification in welding or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
