Responsibilities
- Perform professional barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and hair threading with precision and artistry
- Apply advanced styling techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and makeup application to meet client needs
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon protocols
- Use salon software systems to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client preferences, offering personalized recommendations, and upselling retail products like hair care and nail care items
- Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling payments with retail math accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license required;
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, and related services
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon setting
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques and retail math proficiency
- Familiarity with store management practices including front desk operations and mentoring responsibilities
