Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Follow proper food safety protocols to ensure quality control and prevent contamination or spoilage
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is advantageous but training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail sectors such as grocery stores or cafés is beneficial
