Front Desk & Guest Services Associate – Super 8 (Cloverdale, IN)
About the Position
We are hiring a reliable, friendly Front Desk & Guest Services Associate for our Super 8 in Cloverdale, IN. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the main point of contact for guests, handle reservations, support day-to-day operations, and help keep the property clean and welcoming.
Starting pay: $14.50/hour or more, based on experience.
Required shifts 3pm-11pm AND 11pm to 7am
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Front Desk
- Answer phones promptly and professionally.
- Check guests in and out, handle reservations, and manage room assignments.
- Provide guest assistance and resolve issues quickly and courteously.
- Respond to guest emails and inquiries.
- Use the property management system and computer extensively throughout the shift.
Operations & Administrative Support
- Take reservations over the phone and online.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Keep the front desk area organized and presentable.
- Perform light administrative tasks and report issues to management.
Light Maintenance & Cleaning
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs, troubleshooting basic issues).
- Mop floors, vacuum, and clean common areas and front desk space.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Assist with breakfast setup, teardown, and cleaning/disinfection of the breakfast area.
Laundry
- Operate commercial washers and dryers.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
- Keep laundry area clean and organized.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
- Strong communication skills (phone, in-person, and email).
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Able to lift moderate weights (laundry, supplies, etc.).
- Willing to perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Starting pay: $14.50/hour or more, based on experience.

We have three shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We are looking for someone who can swing between 1st and 2nd shift as needed.
- Part-time and full-time positions are open.
- Schedule flexibility is important, and you may be asked to work different days or shifts based on business needs.
- Immediate openings may be available.
Pay
- Starting pay: $14.50/hour or more, based on experience.
- Pay may increase with experience and performance.
