American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU/CCU position in the Denver, CO area, requiring a minimum of 1 year of acute care ICU experience with ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.

ICU/CCU unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building of an acute care hospital
-
16-bed unit with a staff of approximately 60
-
1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
-
Night shift schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
-
Equipment used includes cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
-
EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred)

Medical ICU and neuro patient populations
-
Typical procedures include intubation and central line placement
-
Day and night shifts each staffed with 1 Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT (PCT for census >14)

Active CO or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience required

At least 2 years of total clinical experience required for this HCA facility

US SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient populations is preferred

Prior Meditech EMR experience is preferred

Collaborative, team-oriented personality is the ideal fit for this unit

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
