Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will deliver vital therapy services to our residents, helping them overcome communication and swallowing challenges to significantly improve their functional independence and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct thorough clinical assessments to accurately diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop customized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet each resident's unique functional goals.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide high-quality therapy sessions addressing a wide range of communication and dysphagia needs.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, and fellow therapy professionals to ensure holistic, comprehensive care.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, timely, and compliant records of patient progress, clinical milestones, and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Illinois.
