Leads and manages rehab department, ensuring compliance with regulations, supervising therapy staff, and maintaining patient care quality.

Manage staffing, scheduling, and supervision of therapy staff.

Ensure compliance with Medicare, company, and state regulations.

Monitor performance, documentation, and productivity.

Serve as liaison with leadership and families.

Provide direct clinical care as appropriate.

Current licensure as OT, PT, or ST.

Diagnoses and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develops therapy plans to maximize communication and swallowing safety.

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Current state license.

Expertise in communication and swallowing disorders.

Speech Therapist (ST) – Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA when eligible.

A current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist is required and must be maintained in good standing.

At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.

A current state license in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy is required and must be maintained in good standing.

At least one year of supervisory or management experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is preferred.

Strong knowledge of Medicare requirements and rehabilitation regulations is required.
