Semi-Trailer Technician
Duties:
Meet and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on trailers
Perform PM inspections and make necessary repairs on trailers
Troubleshoot ABS system and repair as needed
Disc and drum brake repairs on semi-trailers
Electrical work on lights and systems
Welding and light fabrication skills
Roll door repairs
Support and help shop foreman’s and team members
Other duties as directed
Qualifications
Preferable own tools and tool box or be willing to purchase
Keep an organized and clean work area
Prompt and reliable employee
1-2-year mechanic experience preferred but not required
Effective communicator and team player
Physical activities include: walking, being able to lift more than 50 lbs., twisting, turning, and climbing ladders
Able to pass a drug test
Compensation
Starting pay $20 no experience and varies with experience
Monthly efficiency commission
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm
Off on major Holidays
