American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric OR RN with a current CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of pediatric OR experience, including ophthalmology scrub and circulate skills.

Pediatric Operating Room (OR) setting within a hospital environment
-
Pediatric surgical patient population, including ophthalmology, and preferred experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Floating to other facilities within the health system may be required
-
8:2 call/on-call ratio
-
Active CA RN license required
-
Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of pediatric OR experience required
-
Demonstrated experience scrubbing and circulating ophthalmology cases required

Previous travel assignment experience required

CNOR certification preferred

Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery preferred

Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery and scrubbing surgical procedures preferred

Completed references must be provided for consideration

Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating in a pediatric OR environment across a range of surgical specialties

Must be available to float to other facilities within the health system as needed
