Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience working with various assembly techniques. Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic devices and systems according to detailed schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
- Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using appropriate techniques
- Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly
- Use hand tools, power tools to prepare and assemble parts
- Conduct quality inspections in accordance with IPC 610 standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Test assembled units using ohmmeters and other electrical testing tools to verify functionality
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in inventory management of components such as PCBs, connectors, and mechanical parts
Skills
- Proficiency in working with printed circuit boards (PCBs), schematics, and electrical wiring
- Experience with soldering techniques, including surface mount technology (SMT)
- Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining, hand tools, and power tools operation
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for electronics assembly
- Electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting, and testing of electronic components
- Good manual dexterity combined with attention to detail and quality assurance skills
