Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dealership Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of Agriculture and Construction Equipment parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our dealership’s service and sales teams. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize supply chain processes, and foster strong relationships with suppliers to maintain a well-stocked, cost-effective parts inventory. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end parts inventory process, including ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution using inventory management systems
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts efficiently while maintaining cost controls.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Oversee warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, forklift operation, and equipment repair to maintain safety and efficiency standards.
- Utilize diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to assist with parts sourcing for equipment repairs and service needs.
- Maintain accurate data entry for parts administration, demand planning, and logistics inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal teams on order management systems, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting to optimize inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership parts management or Agriculture and Construction Equipment supply chain management with a strong understanding of Agriculture and Construction Equipment parts and accessories.
- Demonstrated supplier management experience with negotiation skills that drive favorable terms.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems, HVAC systems, and equipment repair.
- Experience managing warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, forklift operation, and logistics inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Excellent internal communication skills combined with customer service orientation to support dealership operations effectively.
- Ability to analyze data for demand planning, pricing adjustments, and sourcing decisions while maintaining high standards of inventory control.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one; familiarity with Agriculture and Construction Equipment is advantageous.
