Part-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Position Summary
Avenir Behavioral Health Center is seeking a professional, dynamic, and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in keeping our facility running smoothly by providing essential administrative support across multiple departments, managing incoming communications, and ensuring a welcoming. professional environment for visitors, staff, and vendors.
Administrative & Calendar Support: Coordinate and distribute calendars for medical staff and administration; manage and maintain the facility's maintenance work order log.
Communication & Reception: Serve as the first point of contact by answering and professionally directing incoming facility telephone calls.
Meeting & Event Coordination: Handle logistics for larger group meetings, including copying, scanning, and managing related tasks for various internal departments.
Intake & Patient Support: Assist with processing admission packets directly with patients and/or Mental Health Power of Attorney (MHPOA) representatives.
- Purchasing & Inventory: Assist with purchase orders, coordinate and schedule incoming deliveries, and meticulously maintain the facility's inventory log.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
Experience: Prior experience as an administrative assistant is preferred; knowledge of a healthcare setting is a strong plus.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and internet research.
Professional Skills: Proven ability to write professional copy (memorandums, policies, procedures), compile structured files for personnel or vendors, monitor date-sensitive information, and build strong professional relationships.
