Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Superintendent to lead and oversee complex industrial or manufacturing facilities. This pivotal role involves managing maintenance operations, supervising technical teams, and ensuring optimal performance of all facility systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, and a proactive approach to facilities management. As a Superintendent, you will drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives to support our operational excellence.
Duties
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams to ensure the reliable operation of all facility equipment and systems
- Oversee the management of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage components
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule, track, and optimize maintenance activities
- Coordinate industrial maintenance tasks related to HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and low/high voltage equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies that improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime
- Supervise projects involving facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines
- Conduct inspections using tools like ohmmeters and schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Manage safety protocols related to high voltage electrical work and industrial maintenance operations
- Foster leadership within the team by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production goals through effective facilities management
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance environments
- Strong management skills with a track record of leading technical teams effectively
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical experience including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical circuits
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance planning and record-keeping
- Experience in HVAC system management within manufacturing or industrial settings
- Demonstrated project management skills for coordinating repairs, upgrades, or installations
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team collaboration
- Knowledge of safety standards related to high voltage work and industrial environments
