Responsibilities
- Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety through attentive child supervision and childcare practices
- Plan and lead engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts, crafts, outdoor play, and educational games
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques and classroom management skills
- Implement first aid protocols promptly when necessary, including CPR and AED operation, to address minor injuries or emergencies
- Facilitate youth group activities and camp-style experiences that foster teamwork, leadership, and social skills
- Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child developmentQualifications
- Experience working with children in educational, childcare, daycare, babysitting, or camp settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies
- Knowledge of basic first aid protocols is a plus : CPR, AED certifications is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead youth programs or facilitate youth group activities effectively
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors positively
- Schedule : part-time, Monday to Friday. 2pm -6pm.(hours may vary slightly based on school schedule)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage children positively
