Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, HVAC units, and other facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs to maintain equipment integrity and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to enhance the appearance and functionality of the premises.
- Supervise maintenance operations when required, providing leadership and guidance to junior team members or contractors.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with electrical equipment, plumbing systems, or performing welding tasks to prevent accidents or hazards.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related manufacturing environment with hands-on work in electrical repair, plumbing, HVAC system repair, or mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their role in automated systems is highly desirable.
- Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders across departments.
