Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing

Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state of Kansas

Current CPR certification

Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in long-term care or geriatric care, is highly preferred

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care

Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic health systems

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

A compassionate, patient-centered approach to providing care

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Attention to detail and adherence to care protocols
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

Prior experience working in a nonprofit or long-term care facility

Current IV certification
Work Environment:
This position operates within a healthcare facility and requires frequent standing, walking, and hands-on resident care. The Charge Nurse must be able to respond effectively in high-pressure situations and maintain professionalism in interactions with staff, residents, and families.
