Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, understanding their vehicle needs and explaining repair options clearly.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow for the service department.
- Write detailed service estimates using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools, accurately assessing repairs such as collision damage, oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, and more.
- Upsell additional services or maintenance that align with customer needs to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers regularly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely at the point of sale.
- Maintain thorough records of all service activities, repair orders, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.
Skills
- Proven experience in auto service management or dealership environments with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, alignment, suspension, and auto body repair.
- Skilled in automotive repair procedures such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and diesel engine diagnostics.
- Proficient in auto estimating software and service writing to generate accurate repair estimates quickly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Sales-oriented mindset with experience in upselling automotive services and automobile sales techniques.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record; experience operating various vehicles is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with dealership experience enhances your ability to assist both customers and technicians effectively.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
