Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills development
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and respectful interactions among children
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth, including Montessori or other curriculum approaches
- Help supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, mealtime, nap time, and transitions to ensure safety at all times
- Maintain clean and organized classroom spaces, including educational materials and toys, to foster an inviting learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children’s progress and any concerns related to behavior or development
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or daycare setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
- Technical proficiency in using educational tools or digital learning platforms is advantageous

8:45 am to 12:00 pm
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
