Job Summary
- The Internal Service Advisor is responsible for coordinating the preparation and delivery of new RVs by serving as the primary liaison between Sales, Finance, Service, Walk-Through Specialists, and customers. This role ensures units are delivered on time, customer expectations are met, and communication between departments remains accurate and efficient.
- The Internal Service Advisor also coordinates lot-unit service and warranty work, ensuring all in-stock RVs are maintained in show-ready condition at all times.
- The Internal Service Advisor develops cost estimates for customer upgrades and accessories before and during the sales process, maintains open communication between the Sales and Service departments, and ensures deadlines are met in accordance with TGORV guidelines.
- This position requires an individual who serves as a trusted source of accurate and timely information for customers, the Service Department, and the Sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery schedules with the Finance Department and the Service Shop.
- Ensure all internal work orders are written accurately and are ready to be assigned.
- Coordinate with Sales staff to estimate, promote, and manage customer requests for modifications, upgrades, and accessory installations.
- Coordinate with the Service Shop to schedule unit preparations and perform quality control to ensure units are clean, fully prepared, and ready for delivery.
- Ensure all internal work orders are billed accurately and closed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with Walk-Through Specialists before and after walkthroughs to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and that customer owed items ("we-owes") and outstanding warranty items are completed.
- Support Walk-Through Specialist roles ensuring coverage as needed for new and used unit sales deliveries.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Support Warranty Administrators by providing updates on the status of warranty claims.
- Support Customer Service counter staff for coverage as necessary.
- Follow company procedures and dealership processes to ensure work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all quality, safety, and equipment procedures in accordance with TGORV guidelines.
- Attend all required meetings to support the execution of company goals, strategic initiatives, and a team-oriented culture.
- Read, respond to, and send daily emails to ensure effective communication with team members and vendors, keeping all parties informed of the Advisor's role in company-wide efforts.
- Answer phone calls as needed in accordance with TGORV guidelines.
- Establish and work toward daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals, both personally and in alignment with TGORV leadership.
- Report any safety concerns to management immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of the RV service industry is required.
- A sales and/or customer service background is preferred.
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner while building positive rapport.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy skills (IDS G2 experience is a plus).
- A "can-do" attitude with a strong sense of teamwork and accountability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
