We’re Hiring: Dance Educator
LDAD – Linda D’Amico’s Academy of Dance located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey is looking for a qualified Dance Educator to join our team who is dedicated to helping our studio grow. We provide a professional, supportive, creative, and inspiring environment for students ages 3 – 18.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Dance, Dance Education or equivalent experience
· 3 – 5 years of experience teaching in a dance studio setting
· Experience teaching a variety of styles including, but not limited to, ballet, jazz, and contemporary
· Experience choreographing for dance competitions or recitals
· Professional, strong classroom management skills and reliability
· Willingness to help and support the growth of the studio
· Passion for teaching
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging, age-appropriate classes for recreational and/or competitive dancers.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
- Choreograph routines for showcases, recitals, and performances as needed.
- Collaborate with studio staff and families to support student growth.
