Compensation: $25–$27 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week, in consistent 4–5 hour blocks (mornings or afternoons, set with you at hire)
About Sayana Medical
Sayana Medical & Wellness Center is a concierge functional and integrative medical practice in Sherman Oaks, led by Dr. Shilpa Sayana, a triple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Functional Medicine.
We work with patients who have been told their labs look normal and still do not feel like themselves. Instead of a rushed 12-minute visit, we run advanced testing, sit down for 60 to 90 minutes to go through every result together, and build a plan around what the data actually shows. Our patients come from across the Valley and the Westside, and many drive an hour or more to see us.
We are a small, close team in a growing practice. The person in this role will be visible in the community, trusted with real responsibility, and given room to take ownership of their work.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, in-person role that splits between marketing work and executive support. Roughly half your week is spent out in the community: dropping off materials, meeting referral partners, and representing the practice at events. The other half is in the office keeping projects, vendors, and Dr. Sayana’s priorities moving with our operations manager
You will report to Dr. Sayana & the Operations Manager, and work closely with our Marketing Director on campaigns, outreach, and events.
This role requires regular local driving.
You will be out of the office several times a week delivering brochures, gift baskets, and promotional materials to physician offices, medical spas, wellness clinics, fitness studios, and local businesses across the Valley and Westside. A reliable vehicle, a valid license, and comfort introducing yourself to new businesses in person are all essential. Mileage is reimbursed.
What You’ll DoCommunity outreach and referral building
- Deliver brochures, gift baskets, and marketing materials to physician offices, medical spas, wellness clinics, fitness studios, and local businesses
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and community organizations
- Track outreach activity and follow up on warm connections
Marketing and events
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives alongside the Marketing Director
- Help plan and execute events, health fairs, workshops, and open houses
- Coordinate vendors, printing, promotional items, and event logistics start to finish
- Assist with social media and ongoing marketing projects
Executive and operations support
- Provide direct support to Dr. Sayana, including scheduling, follow-up tasks, and project coordination
- Keep projects organized, tracked, and completed on time
- Run occasional business-related errands

The right person for this role is comfortable walking into a business they’ve never been to, introducing themselves, and leaving a good impression of the practice. You are polished and warm in person, and you follow through without being chased.

- Self-directed and dependable. You can be handed a project and trusted to move it forward without daily check-ins, and you say something early when a deadline is at risk.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever the day requires
- Discreet and professional in a medical setting
Experience
- Marketing, event, administrative, or operations experience preferred
- Healthcare, wellness, aesthetics, or luxury service experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable with Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Claude/Chat GPT and social media platforms
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
