Job Summary
Summit Commercial Contracting is seeking an experienced Masonry & Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses primarily on tuckpointing, masonry repairs, and small commercial painting projects, while also assisting with miscellaneous maintenance and repair work for commercial properties throughout Dayton/Cincinnati/Columbus.
This is a full-time position offering year-around work, a company vehicle, and opportunities for growth within a respected commercial contractor.
Responsibilities
- Perform masonry repairs, including tuckpointing, brickwork, concrete patching on commercial buildings
- Conduct residential and commercial painting projects, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished to meet quality standards.
- Identify repair needs and recommend solutions
- Maintain facilities by inspecting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing or replacing faulty components.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and team members
- Operate company vehicles and equipment safely
Requirements
- Proven experience in masonry work, residential painting, and general facilities maintenance.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working on ladders and elevated work areas
- Strong Attention to Detail and Quality Workmanship
Preferred
- Experience operating aerial lifts and other access equipment
- Commercial Painting experience
- General construction and maintenance experience
Pay: From $52,500.00 per year
