The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all dynamic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a qualified doctor of medicine. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares and performs patient procedures.
- Performs patient examination to ensure the delivery of quality care.
- Maintains accurate departmental records.
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
- Assists in the orientation and training of students when doing clinical rotations in the department.
- Participates in “on-call” rotation to be shared with other staff Sonographers.
- Considers the age of the patients served, applies knowledge of growth and development and age-specific techniques through the life span (neonates/infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics)in planning and implementing care.
- Keeps daily documentation as it applies to any accreditations that the Organization deems appropriate.
- Registered or registry eligible within one year of employment and is registered within two years of employment in at least one area.

Requirements:
Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited school of Sonography.
Shift: 1st Shift
Compensation: $33.25 - $49.34 per hour based on experience.
