Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floor care routines by stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance.
- Manage outdoor work tasks including trash removal, yard tidying, window washing, and light landscaping to keep exterior areas pristine.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving furniture or equipment moving while adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
- Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout all cleaning processes to promote health and safety standards.
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, tracking cleaning schedules, and reporting maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments such as janitorial work or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Skills in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation procedures, and custodial tasks.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy objects or performing outdoor work activities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents or clients.
- Strong time management capabilities to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Knowledge of laundry processes and equipment operation is preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
