Job Title: RN Neurological Unit

Duration: 13-week contract
Start Date: ASAP, upon completion of credentialing/onboarding
Shift Schedule: Full-time nights - two 8-hour shifts, two 12-hour shifts; includes weekends and holidays as needed
How many shifts needed per month: Per night rotation schedule
Credentialing/Onboarding time: 6 8 weeks
License: Any state license works (current, active, unrestricted)
Certifications: Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Education: BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program; passed NCLEX
Experience needed: 2 years acute care hospital nursing in Medical Surgical care, WITH strong, specific experience in Neuro and seizure management (required - general med-surg without neuro exposure does not qualify)
Special Skills needed: Seizure monitoring/management, neuro assessments (e.g., NIHSS-type checks), management of neurologically complex patients
Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients with neurological conditions including seizure disorders; perform frequent neuro checks and document changes in status; respond to acute neurological events; collaborate with the neurology care team.
Misc: Night shift only.
