What You'll Do
Develop, implement, and maintain clinical pharmacy services at the assigned practice site
Provide pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations to physicians and healthcare providers
Support clinical decision-making to improve patient outcomes and medication safety
Assist with nutritional support consultations as appropriate
Monitor and document clinical activities to support accreditation and quality initiatives
Educate and mentor pharmacists, residents, students, and interns
Develop policies, procedures, clinical guidelines, and pharmacy programs
Participate in multidisciplinary committees and patient care initiatives
Support pharmacy and medical resident training through rounds and educational programs
Engage in continuous professional development and clinical practice advancement
Qualifications
✔ Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
Must meet one of the following:
✔ Two (2) years of ASHP-accredited residency or fellowship training in a specialty area
✔ One (1) year ASHP-accredited residency plus one (1) or more years of specialty practice experience
✔ Five (5) years of clinical pharmacy experience consistent with organizational needs
✔ Florida Pharmacist License required or ability to obtain within four (4) months of hire
✅ Clinical specialty practice experience
✅ Residency training and precepting experience
✅ Strong interdisciplinary communication and collaboration skills
✅ Experience developing clinical programs, policies, and guidelines
✅ Participation in research, quality improvement, and committee initiatives
