Job Overview
SecurTec is seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to staff a residential gatehouse in Tamarac, FL. This position is responsible for controlling access to the community, monitoring activity at the gatehouse, and providing a courteous, professional presence for residents and visitors.
This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused.
Pay Rate: Starting at $14.00/hr, based on experience
Shift Hours: All Shift Availability - Preference for Nights and Weekends
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor access at the residential gatehouse
- Verify resident and visitor access in accordance with post orders
- Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity
- Conduct periodic patrols as required
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
- Communicate clearly with residents, guests, and SecurTec Operations
- Respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Maintain a professional, alert, and courteous presence at all times
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class D Security License (required)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
- Residential, gatehouse, or customer-facing security experience preferred (not required)
