Position: Full-Time Garage Door Service & Installation Technician
Overhead Door Company of Evansville/Owensboro is looking for an experienced Garage Door Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking a dependable, motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and doing the job right the first time.
As a technician with our company, you will diagnose, repair, service, and install residential and commercial garage doors and operators while representing one of the most recognized names in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial garage door systems
- Install new garage doors, operators, springs, and related equipment
- Perform service calls including spring replacements, cable repairs, opener repairs, and adjustments
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Provide customers with professional recommendations and solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent our company professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous garage door technician experience required
- Strong knowledge of garage door systems, springs, operators, and hardware
- Experience with brands such as Overhead Door, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Linear, and others preferred
- Ability to safely lift, climb ladders, and work with tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills

Pay: Up to $68,000.00 per year
