Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. Duties
- Assist with the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming shipments using RF scanners and pallet jacks
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately in accordance with customer specifications
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and inventory management software
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers and preparing necessary documentation for international trade regulations and trade compliance
- Utilize ERP systems and MRP software for order processing, data entry, and stock management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers is desirable
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and order fulfillment procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and data accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
