About the role We're a high-volume downtown Miami restaurant looking for a sharp, reliable Takeout Cashier to join our front-of-house team. This is a fast-moving environment — every shift is busy, guests move quickly, and we need someone who stays composed and delivers a great experience no matter what's happening around them.
What you'll be doing
- Handling takeout orders accurately and efficiently at the counter and by phone
- Processing payments and managing the cash register
- Communicating order details to the kitchen and following up on timing
- Keeping the takeout area organized during peak hours
- Providing friendly, professional service to every guest
What we're looking for
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
- Fluent English — you'll be communicating with guests and the team all shift
- Spanish proficiency is a big plus (we serve a bilingual customer base)
- Strong people skills — warm, confident, and easy to work with
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stay focused during rush periods
- Basic POS system experience preferred, but we'll train the right person
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
