Your Role:
As an LPN you will provide personalized medical care with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, you'll be part of a collaborative environment where every task contributes to real, lasting change.
What You'll Do:
- Accurately document medical histories and chart progress
- Take and monitor vitals: blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
- Observe patients for treatment response and medication side effects
- Assist with personal care: bathing, feeding, hygiene, mobility
- Administer medications and injections, dress wounds, and perform other basic clinical duties
- Collect lab samples and manage fluid intake/output
- Provide emotional support and guidance to residents and their families
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and your care team
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Licensed as an LPN in the State of Louisiana
- Prior experience in a care setting preferred
- Calm, compassionate, and reliable—especially under pressure
- Physically fit and able to handle daily caregiving tasks
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a dynamic, inclusive environment
- Familiar with health and safety regulations and best practices
- Strong documentation and basic computer skills
Pay:
$25–$27 per hour
