Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and quickly
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service during checkout
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities
- Assist with food handling duties, including stocking supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring freshness of ingredients
- Support team members in delivering quick service in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting, contributing to a positive guest experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail sales transactions within a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly without compromising quality or safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management
- Previous experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly desirable but not required; training will be provided for all roles
