Maintenance-Equipment Mechanic
Our manufacturing client is seeking skilled Maintenance-Equipment Mechanic for their first-shift team! This direct hire role is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the company’s Bristol, NH facility.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance-Equipment Mechanic
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment to minimize downtime
- Install, dismantle, assemble, erect, align, fabricate, or move equipment as needed
- Follow written and verbal instructions and interpret blueprints
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications of the Maintenance-Equipment Mechanic
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Mechanical skills and own set of tools
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical frames, and use of common shop equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good computer skills and comfortable using maintenance scheduling software
- Forklift license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work overtime as needed
