Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Aloha POS , Toast or Micros POS systems for processing orders and payments.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation and handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Proven sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items.
- Proficient in basic math for cash handling and retail transactions.
- Previous experience in customer service within the food industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation.
