American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital-based surgical unit in Waterloo, Iowa, requiring call rotation coverage including weekends, weeknights, and holidays.

Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting

Day shift schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (36-hour weeks) or 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM; 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM for 40-hour weeks

Weekend call required approximately every 4th–5th weekend

Weeknight call required approximately every 1–2 weeks

Holiday call rotation required

Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license recognized in Iowa

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Current ACLS certification required

Current NIHSS certification required

Minimum 1 year of OR/surgical nursing experience required

COVID vaccination card required for consideration

License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred for RNs
