Job Summary
Looking for individuals interested in working with a dedicated team of professionals in a learner-centered, competency-based education program serving Keene and the greater Monadnock region. We have openings for individuals to work 1:1 with learners as well as working with a variety of learners in various educational settings, on and off-site.
Duties
- Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and early childhood development strategies.
- Support students with individual needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring they participate fully in classroom activities.
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques and classroom management skills.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to reinforce learning objectives and boost student confidence.
- Engage with students during activities that promote social skills, communication skills, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians when needed.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, teachers, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or autism while maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
