Room Attendant (Canine Coach)
Part-time | Please do not apply if only available for Summer, full training takes 60-90 days
Dogtopia of Roseville is hiring! We’re looking for reliable, energetic, and dog-loving people to join our team as Room Attendants (also called Canine Coaches).
This job is not just playing with puppies. It’s active, physical work that requires responsibility, quick thinking, and a genuine passion for dogs. You’ll be managing groups of 20 to 30 dogs, keeping the playroom spotless, and making sure each pup is safe, happy, and ready to go home tired.
What you'll do
- Supervise large groups of dogs using positive reinforcement and redirection
- Maintain a clean, safe, and fun playroom (lots of cleaning involved)
- Learn dog behavior and body language
- Create a great experience for our pet parents through our live webcams
- Play hard, work hard, and head home fulfilled
What we’re looking for
- A genuine love of dogs and a strong work ethic
- Must be 18 or older
- Reliable and able to stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable being on your feet, moving, and cleaning for your entire shift
- Experience with dogs is a plus but not required — we provide training
Shifts available
- Weekday mornings (6:45 am to 12:30 pm)
- Weekday afternoons (1:45 pm to 7:00 or 8:30 pm)
- Weekend and holiday shifts are also available and appreciated
